Joined Annalivia!

I am very happy to announce that I have joined Liz Simmons and Flynn Cohen as the third member of their band Annalivia! This is a really exciting collaboration for me, because the sound combines three of my greatest musical influences; bluegrass, traditional American stringband music and Irish music. We did a fun tour in April that took us from Boston down to Bethlehem, PA and back and we've got a lot more dates in the books starting in September! Atlantic Seaway Project

One of my musical projects this year has been playing with the group Atlantic Seaways. Three top music colleges began this collaboration to showcase Scottish and American folk music side by side in a band that has roots in both traditions.

Berklee College of Music, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The University of Strathclyde bring their top Scottish, old time and bluegrass musicians together to collaborate at Celtic festivals around the world.

Last August I traveled with Atlantic Seaways to Brittany, France where we played at the Festival InterCeltique du Lorient. Since August, we have been performing shows in Boston and NYC as well as organizing regular ceilidhs at Berklee to bring awareness of Scottish music and culture to the school.
